Pangarap Kong Tinapay: Why Baking Is My Everest (And How I’m Gonna Conquer It, Wish Me Luck!)

Let’s be real, who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked bread? That, my friends, is the dream. Kaso, iba talaga pag ikaw mismo yung gagawa, diba?

And that’s my dilemma. I’ve always, ALWAYS wanted to learn how to bake. Like, pangarap ko talaga ‘to since bata pa ako. Imagine, ako yung taga-bake ng birthday cake for everyone, yung may pa-freshly baked cookies every Christmas, yung tipong kapitbahay mo nainggit na sa bango galing kusina mo!

Pero… Adulting is real, mga ‘tol.

The Struggle Is Real: Bakit Nga Ba Ang Hirap Matuto Mag-Bake?

  • Time? Wala akong ganon! Between work, family, and other responsibilities, sino ba naman ang may time mag-aral mag-bake?
  • Budget? Next question please! Let’s face it, baking can be expensive.
  • Takot mag-fail? Ayan tayo eh! One of the biggest things that holds me back is the fear of failure. Paano kung hindi maging masarap? Paano kung ma-sunog yung cake ko? Sayang naman yung effort, oras, at pera!

From Baking Zero to Baking Hero: Kaya Mo Yan, Kaya Natin ‘To!

Pero alam niyo, I’m done with the excuses. This year, I’m determined to finally learn how to bake. And I know you can too!

Here’s the plan:

  1. Start Small, Dream Big! Hindi naman kailangan mag-ala-Chef Boy Logro agad. We can start with simple recipes like cookies or banana bread. Yung mga tipong sureball at mahirap i-fail. Practice makes perfect, ika nga!
  2. Budget-Friendly Baking is the Key! We can look for affordable alternatives to expensive ingredients.
  3. Embrace the “Palpak” Moments! But instead of getting discouraged, let’s learn from our mistakes. At least, may kwento tayo at nakakatuwa pang balikan, diba?
